Tim Conboy

Tim Conboy is currently the Development Director at Savion. Prior to this, they were the Director, Project Development at Kruger Energy from October 2013 to April 2020. In this role, they were responsible for identifying, evaluating and developing solar, wind, hydro and energy storage projects in the United States and Canada.

Before joining Kruger Energy, Tim was the Director of Government Affairs for Acciona Energy from October 2006 to March 2013. In this role, they developed and executed the mission, strategy and priorities for the company’s U.S. government affairs and industry relations functions.

Prior to Acciona Energy, Tim was with The Barton Group from January 1996 to December 2006 as Vice President, Strategic Planning where they identified and developed new business opportunities.

Tim began their professional career with the US Navy from January 1989 to December 1997 as a Navy Officer. During their time with the Navy, they directed underway operations, the auxiliaries and electrical engineering division and public affairs for the frigate USS Taylor during international naval exercises in the Persian Gulf and other extended deployments.

Tim Conboy has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Their field is new product development, international business and finance. Tim Conboy also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) from University at Albany, SUNY in business administration and management.
