Robert Black has over 15 years of work experience in customer success and sales roles. Robert is currently working as a Customer Success Manager at Saviynt since March 2021. Prior to that, Robert worked at IBM as a Senior Customer Success Manager for IBM Security from June 2018 to February 2021. Robert also served as a Customer Success Manager at PlumChoice from January 2017 to April 2018. Robert has experience in account management and channel management roles, having worked as a Cloud Account Manager at Oracle and a Channel Manager at Bradford Networks. Robert also has experience in sales and management roles at Envision Technology Advisors and HiQ Computers, where they were responsible for business development, account management, and sales strategies. Before entering the technology industry, Robert gained experience in advocacy and grassroots organizing at the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and FieldWorks. Robert started their career as an Intake/Records Manager at Arbour Counseling Services. Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated strong skills in customer success, sales, account management, and business development.

Robert Black attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Robert'sdegree was in Psychology with minors in Social Work and Criminal Justice. After that, they attended UMass Boston from 2005 to 2007 and completed coursework for a Master's of Science degree in Public Affairs.

In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained several certifications, including the IBM Cloud Pak for Security - Technical Sales and IBM Cloud Pak for Security Sales Foundations from IBM in January 2021. Robert also obtained the IBM Resilient SOAR Foundations certification. Furthermore, they hold certifications such as Apple Sales Professional, Microsoft Academic Licensing Specialist, Microsoft Midmarket Sales Professional, and VMware VSP 5.5.
