Jon Russell

Jon Russell is the founder of saVRee, where growth included expanding the business to over 50,000 online students across more than 140 countries, producing over 90 hours of engineering video content, and growing a YouTube channel to over 250,000 subscribers. Prior experience includes serving as a Boiler and Machinery Consultant at Global Risk Consultants, providing loss prevention advice at heavy industrial locations, and holding the position of Chief Engineer on a 60-meter private super yacht at Selene. Additional roles include various marine engineering positions from 2005 to 2009 and serving as an Engineering Cadet at Maersk Group from 2002 to 2005. Jon Russell holds a Bachelor Engineering Honours Degree in Fracture Mechanics from The Open University and a Marine Engineering Higher National Diploma from South Tyneside Maritime College.
