Gene Bennett

Gene Bennett has a strong background in marketing and sales within the education industry. Gene is currently working as a Marketing Campaign Manager at Savvas Learning Company since October 2019. Prior to that, they served as the K12 Strategic Campaign Marketing Manager at Pearson K-12 Learning Services from June 2014 to October 2019. Before joining Pearson K-12 Learning Services, Gene worked at Pearson from June 1998 to June 2014, where they held various roles such as Curriculum Specialist, Curriculum Manager, and Sales Representative. As a Curriculum Manager, they provided sales and marketing support for state adoption instructional materials campaigns, conducted market research, and contributed to product development.

Gene Bennett obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Teacher Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications in various fields such as design aesthetics for the web, project management, infographic design, presentation design, time management, effective criticism delivery, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop training, InDesign, After Effects, and graphic design concepts. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn between 2021 and 2023.
