Rick Hickox

Rick Hickox has extensive experience in the field of digital development and project management for educational companies. Rick currently holds the position of Director, Digital Development for Secondary Literacy at Savvas Learning Company since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Pearson for a significant period of time in various roles. From 2009 to 2023, Rick served as the Director, Secondary Digital Development for Literacy Solutions, where they managed a team of up to eight and was responsible for the development of digital products for Literature and Writing programs. Before that, they worked as the Regional Director for the Project Management Department, Curriculum Group, overseeing the work of fifteen project managers. From 2000 to 2007, Rick was the Site Director for the Education Technology Department, where they managed a team of technology project managers and worked on various product lines including Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Career and Technology, and Modern and Classical Languages.

Rick Hickox attended St. Lawrence University from 1980 to 1984. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
