SAWA – short for Sustainability Alliance of Worldwide Arabs – is a network for sustainability professionals in the MENA region and across its diaspora to connect online and offline, whether they’re at the start of their career or a seasoned professional. We’ll be running events, spotlighting opportunities and resources, and helping people in the region and its diaspora connect with sustainability-minded peers and mentors. 

Our aim is to amplify regional voices, accelerate sustainability efforts, and build cross-border partnerships that drive solutions for our collective future rooted in culture, equity, and impact. In short, we’re here to connect, inspire, and empower individuals who identify as Arab (or with the region!) and are passionate about sustainability.

In Arabic, SAWA (سوا) means together – and that’s the way we build a more sustainable MENA region.
