Joe Buckley

Joe Buckley is currently the Associate Director at Sayers. Joe has over eight years of experience in engineering and management, with a focus on the Retail, Energy, Utilities, and Mining sectors.

Joe started their career at Rio Tinto as a Process Engineer. During their three years at Rio Tinto, Joe increased plant production by 15% and acted in a line manager role for a period of five months. Joe also completed Rio Tinto's graduate development program and was certified as a Green Belt.

In May 2015, Joe started working at PwC Australia as a Manager in the Deals Strategy & Operations team. At PwC, Joe worked with clients to understand how they could create value from M&A activity. This included work on due diligence, separation planning, and integration. During their five years at PwC, Joe worked on large transactions for multinational companies in the Financial Services and Media sectors.

Joe Buckley has completed a Bachelor of Engineering (honours) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Marketing and Finance from the same school. Additionally, they have completed a Certificate IV in Trainer and Assessing from Skills 360, and has received a VCE in H G L Prize for Mathematical Methods from Trinity Grammar School.
