Luke Hansen

Luke Hansen is a Partner at Sayers. Prior to joining Sayers, Luke was an Executive Director at JBWere, where they served as Head of Markets Group from September 2018 to January 2021, and Head of Trading for JBWere from May 2014 to September 2018. In their role as Head of Trading, Luke was responsible for driving investment communication, strategy, ideas, portfolio construction and implementation, as well as providing expert advice across a range of asset classes, including unlisted fixed income, domestic and international equity and derivatives, and foreign exchange transactions and hedging. Luke also worked with external institutions to further develop liquidity large listed fixed income and hybrids trades, and led new initiatives, corporate relationships and other opportunities. Prior to their role as Head of Trading, Luke served as Business Lead from September 2013 to May 2014, and Executive Manager from October 2012 to September 2013. Before taking on a management role, Luke was a Manager - General Advice from September 2011 to October 2012.

Luke Hansen completed a BCom/BA at the University of Melbourne in finance, management, and politics. Luke also attended Brighton Grammar School. Luke has certification from the Accredited Derivatives Adviser and RG146.
