Malcolm Malcolm'scock is a partner at Sayers. Malcolm was previously a co-founder of Judo Bank, where they served as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Capital Management Officer, Management Board Member, Asset/Liability Committee Member, and Company Secretary. Judo Bank was created to serve as Australia’s first challenger bank for Small and Medium Enterprises. The bank raised a total of $540 million in 2018 and 2019, the largest in Australia’s corporate history for a start-up. Judo Bank received a full banking licence from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority in April 2019. In the space of three years, Judo achieved “unicorn status”, achieving a market value more than $1 billion.

Before Judo Bank, Malcolm was the Managing Director at Orion Corporate Advisory Services from May 2006 to October 2016. Prior to that, they were the Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at ANZ Investment Bank from January 2004 to December 2006.
