Wei Lu has been involved in various roles within the design and engineering industry since 2008. Wei began their career as an Architectural Design Engineer with China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, where they independently designed 4 stations in mountain railway projects and participated in the design work of 2 stations in the Haerbin to Shenyang high-speed railway project. In 2009, they were promoted to Lead of Architectural Design Team and Engineer with China Railway Yiyuan Survey And Design Group Co. and was responsible for the design of stations for the Beijing-Shijiazhuang and Zhengzhou-Xi'an high-speed railways. In 2011, they were promoted to Head of Architectural Office and was responsible for the Tianjin subway Line 4 station design work. In 2008, they were promoted to Director of Architectural Design Office and was responsible for the overall project management of work related to Beijing Subway Line 3 and 7. In 2018, they began working as a freelancer, where they accomplished many web and mobile applications and design projects with a focus on UI/UX. In 2019, they co-founded SayHomee and also began working as a Product Designer and Architect with Eanovation.
Wei Lu received a Master of Arts in Web Design & New Media from the Academy of Art University in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning from Xi'An Technological University.
