Sazani Associates combines extensive expertise in community engagement, participatory research and the design of integrated sustainable livelihood programmes with technical advisory services for the private sector.

With more than 20 years’ experience across socio-economic development, natural resource governance and education, Sazani works at the intersection of people, place and policy.

Our expertise ranges from designing and implementing programmes that strengthen resilience, digital literacy, climate adaptation and equitable access to resources, to assessing, reviewing and advising on public, private and third sector plans and interventions.

We bring critically applied knowledge of international frameworks, safeguards and reporting requirements, and regularly undertake confidential due diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions and lending decisions.

Equally at home in the boardroom and the rural women’s association, Sazani often acts as a critical friend: helping projects troubleshoot, manage change, navigate complexity and resolve conflict.
