Roberto Piazza

Roberto Piazza has extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors, currently serving as VP and Country Manager for SBA Communications in Brazil, managing a portfolio of 10,000 towers since March 2015. Prior to this role, Piazza held board positions at Axismed and MFS Mobile Financial Services between 2013 and 2015. Piazza has also served as Head of Telefónica Digital Brazil, overseeing significant digital services generating over R$ 1 billion in revenue. Earlier roles include various leadership positions within Telefonica and Vivo, focusing on strategic planning, digital and broadband services, and business development. Piazza's career began as an engineer at CVRD, followed by consulting roles at Sol Rio Consultores and McKinsey & Company. Piazza holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Michigan and completed executive education programs at Columbia Business School and INSEAD.
