Simon Pertschy

Simon Pertschy is an experienced software developer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at SBB CFF FFS since November 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held the position of Senior Full Stack Engineer at Netstream AG from September 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities included software development for IPTV hardware using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Svelte, as well as backend services design with Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus. Simon also contributed to the operational management of IPTV solutions and was a leadership member of the Media department. From November 2010 to August 2018, Simon worked at the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF in various roles, including software developer, Unix system administrator, and IT support expert. Earlier experience includes a position as a scientific assistant at the Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik Buchs NTB Buchs SG from January 2007 to January 2010. Simon holds a degree in System Engineering from the NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik Buchs SG, earned from 2003 to 2006.
