Jonathan Whelan

Jonathan Whelan is an experienced professional in conference production and relationship management, currently serving as the Director of Relationships and Director of Conferences & Relationships at SBC since March 2021. Whelan's role involves leading the team in the production of high-quality conference agendas in various formats. Prior to SBC, Whelan operated as an Independent Consultant, assisting businesses in project development and management. Previous positions include Head of Conferences for Asia at Argus Media, Managing Director at IMAPAC Pte Ltd, and General Manager at Terrapinn, where responsibilities encompassed strategic direction, product development, financial management, and team leadership. Jonathan Whelan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English from the University of Exeter.
