Tom Kurowski

Tom Kurowski is a seasoned professional in the manufacturing and organizational development sectors, currently serving as a Board Member at SBCA since September 2022 and holding the position of Director of Manufacturing at US LBM since July 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Human Resources, Organizational Development and Training for North American Fiber Cement Manufacturing at James Hardie Building Products from July 2011 to June 2017, where Tom coordinated HR, organizational development, and training efforts across multiple locations. Additionally, Tom has held roles as Plant Manager at both James Hardie Building Products and USG, overseeing operational efficiency and safety in various manufacturing settings. Tom's career began at USG in 1994, spanning multiple roles with increasing responsibility, and concluded with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona in 1994.
