Andrei Bashchenko

Andrei Bashchenko is an experienced data integration leader currently serving as Head of Data Integration at Sberbank since April 2021, focusing on provisioning trusted data for AI applications through the development of a semantic layer that includes a business glossary and logical data models. Prior to Sberbank, Andrei served as CTO and Head of Data Platform at MTS Group, overseeing a large team dedicated to data monetization, and led the Big Data Division for Luxoft, managing projects for Russian Post. Andrei has also contributed to Kaspersky Lab as a Global Implementation PM, Optima Group as a Program Manager, IBS as a Project Manager, and began a career as a Software Developer at Softlabs. Andrei holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
