Adam Abel

Adam Abel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adam is currently working as an Infrastructure Manager at SBI Software, where they are responsible for managing all computing, storage, networking, and Azure infrastructure. Adam also supports customer label printing and server hardware/software. Prior to this role, Adam worked as a Network Engineer at ScaleMatrix, where they managed network infrastructures for 5 data centers and designed network high availability fail-over.

Before joining ScaleMatrix, Adam was a Data Center Support Analysis L2 at Hitachi Vantara, where they provided support for enterprise storage systems, software products, and IP/fibre channel products. Adam also worked with Windows, VMware, and Linux hosts deployed on Hitachi hardware. Adam was later promoted to L2 Escalation Support Analyst, focusing on fibre channel Brocade and Cisco product analysis.

Adam also has experience working with Hitachi Data Systems as a GSC Technical Analyst, specifically supporting SAN/NAS storage products and managing customers' fibre environments. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Representative at Tri-Ed Distribution for a brief period.

Earlier in their career, Adam worked as a Service Activation Technican II at Integra, where they built configurations for business Internet, Voice, and VPN services. Adam also worked with various networking devices, such as Cisco routers and Adtran devices. Adam also has experience in PBX phone system installation and support, SIP phone service testing, and support as a Partner Support at VTech.

Adam's earlier roles include working as a Tech Support at Planar Systems, where they provided support for projectors, monitors, touch screens, and thin client devices. Adam also worked closely with the business unit team to develop better processes and policies. Adam also worked as a Tech Support at LaCie, where they assisted customers with product and computer-related issues and served as the lead technician for complex questions.

Adam Abel attended Century High School in Hillsboro, OR from 1997 to 2001. Adam received their high school diploma during this time. Later, from 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelors in Computer Science at Portland Community College, focusing on the field of study in Computer Science.
