Andy Carmichael

Andy Carmichael is a Mechanical Fleet Assessor at SBM Offshore since February 2020 and serves as Director of Carmtech Services, providing engineering and training technical services. Previously, Andy held multiple roles at BP from 1997 to 2018, including Training Lead, Mechanical Discipline Lead, Mechanical Coach Assessor, and Project Engineer, with responsibilities ranging from training program development to project execution for mechanical systems. Andy’s education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IMECHE and a Higher National Certificate in Mechanical and Design Engineering from Hull College.
