George Risse

George Risse, MA, CIA, CISA, currently serves as the Country Head of Finance and Group Internal Audit Manager at SBM Offshore, a position held since January 2016, where responsibilities include managing the annual audit plan and preparing audit reports for senior management and the audit committee. Prior experience includes roles as Group Internal Auditor at SBM Offshore from June 2013 to June 2015, and as a SOX Internal Auditor at Alcon Laboratory, Novartis Group, from 2011 to 2012, where George Risse led SOX compliance projects and performed ICOFR risk impact assessments. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Corporate Strategy and Industrial Economy from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University, a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics from Bangor University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from ISG Institut Supérieur de Gestion.
