Patrick Vaz

Patrick Vaz, MSc, is an experienced Process and MOC Engineer at SBM Offshore since August 2017, responsible for providing technical support to offshore process operations, optimizing process plants, and managing design changes. Previous roles at SBM Offshore include Control Room Operator, Process Operator, and Process Operator Trainee, where duties ranged from remote operation of critical systems to emergency response. Prior to SBM Offshore, Patrick worked as a Process Analyst at SENAI CETIQT, a Patent Intern at Daniel Legal & IP Strategy, and a Process Simulation Intern at Universidade Federal Fluminense, contributing to research and education in process engineering. Patrick holds a Master's degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Cranfield University and dual Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from the University of Melbourne.
