Jay Irwin

Jay Irwin has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Jay began their career in 1998 as an Account Manager for Bradford Technologies. In 2001, they became an Account Manager for SurfControl, which was acquired by Websense/Raytheon. In 2004, they joined VeriSign as a Sr. Territory Manager, where they worked on compliance-based solutions and developed VeriSign's Two Factor Authentication program. In 2007, they worked as a Network & Data Security Consultant for SBS Security and as a Sr. Territory Manager for Cenzic, Inc., where they developed penetration testing best practices and assessed customer environments for web application security vulnerabilities. Since 2013, they have been a Principal/Network & Data Security Consultant for Mitigate Solutions, where they specialize in mobile device management, next-gen firewalls, cloud-based security solutions, messaging security platforms, encryption, endpoint security, data loss prevention, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, SIEM/log management, WAN optimization, archiving/eDiscovery platforms, and project-based security consulting. Jay has worked with many notable clients, such as JP Morgan Chase, Sprint, Johnson & Johnson, and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).

Jay Irwin obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Liberty University between 1993 and 1996. Jay also holds a P/C License.
