Shaheena A. Carrim founded SC Legal in 2022 backed by her 20 years’ experience in litigation, advisory and transactional work in multiple practice areas of the law, whilst she was a member of Chambers of Sir Hamid Moollan QC. Her vision is to leverage winning strategies that will drive value and mitigate risks for clients whilst at the same time offering highly customizable, efficient and personalised services to support clients in their growth, goals, development and obligations as ESG compliant citizens of the world at every stage, from crafting processes, negotiating and drafting agreements of any kind, and client representation in litigation. 

The aim of SC Legal is not only to advise on the present state of the law but to prepare its clients to meet the evolving legal challenges. 

Shaheena’s pride is her ability to create an environment where her clients trust her for her open, honest, quick and solutions-driven advice. She leverages her courtroom skills in her transaction advisory practice.

Shaheena has appeared before most courts and tribunals in Mauritius and also the Privy Council and is particularly well regarded with respect to civil and corporate matters.
