Henry Gorelick

Senior Software Engineer at Scala Computing

Henry Gorelick is a software developer with experience in a variety of industries. Henry began their career in 2014 as a summer intern at Brady & Kosofsky, PA, where they communicated with clients on customer service matters, corresponded with title companies, insurance agents, home inspectors, and government officials, and searched online deed registries and public tax records. In 2015, they were a Systems Administration Intern at Gorelick Brothers Capital. In 2016, they were a Production, Talent, and Script Intern at Late Night with Seth Meyers, where they aided in the daily production and distributed all versions of revised scripts to the control room, post-production, and cue cards. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Lead Robotics Researcher and Research and Development and Technical Writing Intern at Boyce Technologies, Inc., where they developed, managed, and maintained all aspects of robot systems, researched and tested new software to enhance and optimize automated manufacturing processes, and managed and tracked all R&D parts/materials purchases. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, where they developed a language model to predict a novel’s success based on its contents using data mining and machine learning, and developed a machine learning resource management system for cloud computing. Henry is currently a Software Developer at Scala Computing, where they develop web applications in an Agile environment with JavaScript, Python, and AWS to automate internal business processes.

Henry Gorelick obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan between 2013 and 2017. Henry then went on to obtain a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences between 2018 and 2020. Henry was awarded a Master of Science certification from Fordham University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in May 2020.
