JONATHAN JOSE

Jonathan Jose has worked in the IT field since 2004. JONATHAN began their career as a Programador I at INN (Instituto Nacional de Nutrición), where they provided technical support and networking (structured cabling). JONATHAN also administered and configured routers and switches, as well as servers under Linux DNS, DHCP, SAMBA, LDAP, and PROXY. In 2014, they became a Coordinador/Especialista Integral I at CADIVI (Comisión de Administración de Divisas), where they coordinated policies, controls, procedures, and methodologies for the management of information security. JONATHAN also administered security policies on perimeter equipment (ASA, FSWM, PFSENSE), as well as monitoring and control tools (ACS, MARS, OSSIM). In 2016, they worked as an Especialista en Seguridad Perimetral at Banco Plaza C.A. Banco Universal, where they administered perimeter equipment (Firewall ASA 5520, IPS) and configured VPNs (site to site and remote access). JONATHAN also configured policies on the McAfee EPO console. In 2017, they became an Analista de Sistema at Fundación Bolivariana de Informática y Telemática (FUNDABIT), where they administered and configured servers under a GNU Linux environment, as well as Firewall Pfsense and VPN (Remote-Access). In 2018, they worked as a Coordinador de Seguridad de la Información at MPPEUCT, where they coordinated, planned, managed policies, standards, and procedures related to information security. JONATHAN also coordinated vulnerability analyses in systems and forensics, and implemented controls and roles to minimize risks in information assets. In 2019, they became a Coordinador de Redes y Seguridad and a Consultor de Redes y Seguridad at Softelinet Soluciones Tecnológicas, C.A., where they administered the Cisco network platform and configured Mikrotik equipment based on 3G and 4G technology. JONATHAN also designed technological solutions based on networks for clients. Jonathan Jose is currently employed as a Cloud Engineer at Escala 24x7 Inc. since 2022.

Jonathan Jose completed their education at I.U.J.O INSTITUTO UNIVERSITARIO JESUS OBRERO from 2010 to 2012, earning a T.S.U Mención Informática degree. JONATHAN has also obtained various certifications, including an IPv6 Basico certification from LACNIC in November 2021, a CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials certification from Cisco in August 2020, a NSE 2 Network Security Associate certification from Fortinet in September 2020, a NSE 3 Networks Security Associate certification from Fortinet in September 2020, a NSE 1 Network Security Associate certification from Fortinet in April 2020, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
