Adrian Pan

Adrian Pan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and engineering management. Currently serving as VP of AI Platforms at Scale AI since October 2017, Adrian Pan owns the technology strategy and roadmap for AI data and model evaluation platforms, aligning efforts across various departments. Previous roles at Scale AI include Sr. Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on engineering groups responsible for annotation systems, data quality platforms, and next-generation infrastructure for autonomous driving and machine learning. Earlier in the career, Adrian Pan spent over 14 years at Google, contributing as Technical Lead and Staff Engineer, guiding technical strategy and building distributed systems for Google Search and Ads. Adrian Pan began the professional journey as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
