Alex Tang

Alex Tang, CPA, CMA, MSA, currently serves as the Head of Generative AI Operations for Marketplace Pay Ops & Incentives at Scale AI, a position held since March 2024. Tang also contributes as a Venture Scout at Outlander VC and engages in angel investing for various startups since May 2022. Previous roles include Vice President of Finance, Accounting, and Operations at Anyscale and Vice President, Corporate Controller at Scale AI, where Tang played pivotal roles in building financial infrastructures and leading high-performing finance teams. Earlier experience includes positions such as Corporate Controller at Poynt by GoDaddy, Senior Finance and Accounting Manager at Square, and Finance Manager at The Clorox Company, among others. Tang holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
