Anthony Chen

Anthony Chen is a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Scale AI, focusing on the development of Large Language Models and Systems since July 2023. Prior to this role, Anthony worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from August 2019 to June 2023, progressing from a Machine Learning Associate to a Level 5 Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer, where responsibilities included designing end-to-end machine learning applications and leading cloud architecture discussions. Earlier experiences include an NLP/ML Research Internship at SIFT, involvement in department of defense projects, and roles as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Minnesota. Anthony also held internships at Optum, contributing to the development of data infrastructure and analytics. Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
