Carmen Wang

Carmen Wang is currently the Head Economist at Scale AI, where they focus on economic strategies within the organization. Previously, they served as a Senior Economist and Applied Scientist at Uber from 2018 to 2021, leading market design and advanced pricing initiatives. Carmen holds a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard Business School, completed in 2018, and has academic experience as a Casual Academic at the University of Sydney from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as an Analyst at the Reserve Bank of Australia from 2009 to 2011 and as a Principal Economist at Carta from 2021 to 2023.
