Edmond Wu has over 30 years of experience in building scalable systems and leading engineering teams. At Scale AI, Edmond served as Technical Lead from 2020 to 2023, where they led a team in developing core system modules and enhancing a data processing platform's performance. Prior to that, Edmond worked at Google, contributing as a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer, focusing on architecture design and performance optimization of distributed systems. Edmond began their career at Sun Microsystems, where they developed enterprise-level software and deepened their expertise in distributed systems. Currently, as Technical Director at Scale AI, Edmond oversees technology strategy and team development while pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
