Jesse Shemen

Jesse Shemen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology, finance, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the UK Lead at Scale AI since June 2025, Jesse previously co-founded and led Papercup as CEO until its acquisition by Scale. Notable prior roles include Venture Lead at Octopus, where Jesse co-launched a wealth technology platform, and co-founding Deloitte Ventures, focusing on equity investments in B2B startups. Jesse has contributed to the development of Deloitte's technology incubator, served as a Consultant managing alliances with global tech vendors, and began a career in investment banking with internships at Credit Suisse, Sparring Partners Capital, and Ardour Capital Investments. Jesse holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and has pursued further education from London Business School and NYU Prague.
