Marvin S.

Marvin S. is a highly experienced professional in the field of Virology and Biotechnology. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at SRI International from September 2019 to March 2023, Marvin focused on developing T-Cell biofactories aimed at targeting viral diseases. Prior to this, Marvin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Dakota State University, where the emphasis was on molecular virology and cell culture techniques, and also held a similar position at COVAB-Makerere University, engaging in fieldwork and laboratory supervision related to microbiology and molecular biology samples. Additionally, Marvin worked as a Laboratory Technologist for the PROMISE PEP Consortium, where responsibilities included the collection and analysis of blood samples from HIV-infected mothers and their infants. Currently, Marvin is employed at Scale AI as an AI Prompt Engineer in Biology, contributing to the development of large language models by collaborating with product teams and data scientists. Marvin holds a PhD in Virology and Vaccinology, an MSc in International Infectious Disease Management, and a degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology.
