Sean Hendryx

Sean Hendryx is a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Scale AI, leading computer vision and machine learning initiatives since May 2022. Prior to this role, Sean served as a Senior Staff Machine Learning Research Engineer and Tech Lead for deep learning at Standard Cognition from January 2019 to May 2022, where technical leadership focused on developing scalable AI products. Earlier experience includes a position as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Explorer.ai before its acquisition by Standard Cognition, and multiple research assistant roles at the University of Arizona, specializing in computer vision, natural language processing, and ecological data analysis. Sean holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning and Remote Sensing from the University of Arizona, completed professional coursework in Computer Science at Stanford University, and has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
