Syu Yang is an experienced compensation professional with a diverse background in executive compensation and organizational psychology. Currently serving in a compensation role at Scale AI since June 2025, Syu previously held the position of Vice President of Executive Compensation at BlackRock from October 2024 to June 2025. Prior experience includes Associate Director of Compensation at Apollo Global Management, Inc. and a progressive career at Morgan Stanley, where roles included Director, Manager, and Associate in Executive Compensation and Compensation & Business Analytics. Syu holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Peking University.
