Yash Maurya

Yash Maurya is a Research Engineer at Scale AI, focusing on post-training research and AI Red teaming. Previously, Yash held roles as a Privacy Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University and Meta, where research centered on privacy implementation and user behavior analysis for AI consent flows. Experience also includes work as a Research Intern in AI governance at BNY, a Research Assistant developing privacy frameworks in partnership with PwC, and a Graduate Student Researcher identifying flaws in LLM unlearning benchmarks. Yash's background is further complemented by engineering efforts at Samsung Electronics and federated learning research at Dynamo AI. Yash earned a Master's degree in Privacy Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
