Marcella Debidda

Marcella Debidda is a prominent leader in patient insights and clinical solutions, currently serving as President at BioNews, Inc. since July 2020, where Marcella has focused on connecting patients with chronic and rare diseases to clinical trial opportunities. Marcella has held multiple strategic roles, including Co-Chair and Scientific Council member at Stanford Medicine X since 2016, and has contributed as a Health Care Advisor for ScaleHealth. With a rich background in patient advocacy and clinical trial innovation, Marcella has served as Chief Patient Officer for both the Pulmonary Wellness Foundation and monARC Bionetworks, where community engagement and patient recruitment strategies were prioritized. Prior to these roles, Marcella held significant positions at Science 37 and Harvard Clinical Research Institute, where strategic partnerships and patient-centric trial designs were key focus areas. Academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular Biology from Università degli Studi di Sassari and a Visiting PhD at the University of Cambridge.
