A 2026 UK study found that small trades businesses lose around £24,000 a year of revenue to unanswered calls — calls that arrive while the owner is on a job, on the road, or already on the phone. Most callers never leave a voicemail. They ring the next plumber on Google.
ScaleLabs is an AI receptionist built for UK trades. Plumbers, electricians, heating engineers, HVAC, roofers, landscapers and similar owner-operator businesses where the phone is the front door of the company.
It sits behind your existing number using call forwarding. When you can't pick up, it answers, qualifies the job, books straight into your calendar, and sends a one-line summary to your phone before your next callout. No hardware to install. No app to learn. No staff to hire. The number stays the same.
Plans start at £79/month. Live in 48 hours. 30-day results guarantee.
For digital agencies running lead-generation or SEO for trades clients: ScaleLabs runs a partner programme — 50% revenue share in year one, 35% for the life of the account. Bolting a working answering layer onto your existing lead-gen is the fastest path we've found to improve retention on trades accounts.
Bespoke AI builds also available for service businesses that need something more custom — voice agents, lead capture flows, workflow automations, internal tooling.
