Andrew Barrett, PhD, is a Co-Founder and Director of Research & Development at ScaleLearning since May 2023. Additionally, Andrew serves as a Board Member for TechKnowCon, which facilitates an annual conference for sharing best practices in technical training and learning. Previous roles include Associate & Lead Consultant at Humentum, Senior Manager of Emerging Learning Technology at TD, and various positions at Shopify, where innovative external education programs were developed, particularly in computer science education. Andrew's earlier experience includes leadership in educational development at Carleton University, instructional innovation at Indiana University, and instructional design at Brock University. Andrew holds a PhD in Educational/Instructional Technology from Indiana University Bloomington and has degrees in Educational/Instructional Media Design and Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and Queen's University, respectively.
