Charitha Veeragandham

Charitha Veeragandham has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Charitha currently serves as a Data Engineer - Team Lead at ScalePad since November 2022. In addition, they work as a Data Engineering and Analytics Instructor at the Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB) since January 2023.

Prior to these roles, Charitha worked at Kaiser Permanente as a Big Data Engineer from January 2020 to October 2022. Charitha'sresponsibilities included collaborating with the Personalization and Recommendations team to enhance customer experience through data. Charitha built end-to-end big data pipelines using technologies like Shell Scripting, Python, SQL, HIVE, and HBase. Charitha also developed Sqoop jobs for loading data from RDBMS into the big data ecosystem.

Before Kaiser Permanente, Charitha worked at Benedettini as a Business Systems Analyst from July 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they processed and analyzed large volumes of data to identify trends and patterns. Charitha implemented best practices in data management and data warehousing in ERP systems. Charitha utilized tools like Python and Power BI to visualize data and find correlations between variables.

Charitha Veeragandham completed their education in a chronological manner. Charitha first attended Sadvidya Semi-Residential from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Pre-University degree with a focus on Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Visvesvaraya Technological University, completing it between 2011 and 2015. Finally, Charitha obtained a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General from The University of Texas at Arlington - College of Business from 2016 to 2017.
