Julien Cabillot

Julien Cabillot has a diverse work experience in the field of technology, ranging from administrative roles to technical leadership positions. Julien'smost recent job was as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Tech Lead at ScalePad, starting in February 2023. Before that, they worked at Ubisoft Montréal as a Tech Lead and Cloud Administrator, responsible for managing technological choices and developments within the DevOps teams. Prior to that, they served as a Cloud Technical Lead at FX Innovation, where they acted as the technical point of contact for management teams and made decisions regarding technology and process evolution. Julien also worked as a Cloud Specialist and System Administrator at FX Innovation, assisting various financial institutions and IT companies in their AWS cloud migrations and providing training and support to client teams. Julien started their career as an Administrator and Technician for SdV Plurimedia, where they managed a large number of physical and virtual machines and provided support and advice to national and regional press groups. Additionally, Julien gained early experience as a System Administrator through their roles as an intern and apprentice at the Direction Interrégionale des Services Pénitentiaires Est-Strasbourg, where they implemented systems for network monitoring and deployed IT solutions in correctional institutions.

Julien Cabillot obtained a DUT degree in Réseau et Télécom from Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar in 2005-2006. Julien then pursued further education and received a Licence Professionel degree in Intégration Voix et Données pour l'Entreprise from the same university in 2006-2007. In terms of certifications, they obtained the MongoDB M102: MongoDB for DBAs certification from MongoDB, Inc. in November 2013, followed by the MongoDB M202: MongoDB Advanced Deployment and Operations certification in June 2014. Later, in April 2017, they obtained both the MongoDB M201: MongoDB Performance and the MongoDB M312: Diagnostics and Debugging certifications from MongoDB.
