Tulsie Narine has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.
Tulsie began their career in 2001 with TBS Promotions, where they worked as a Graphic Designer, creating various mascot and team logos for Ontario public and private schools. They also designed materials for print and digital collateral and established creative direction for the company.
While at TBS Promotions, Tulsie transitioned into an Application Developer role, where they developed and maintained core applications, including two external company-facing websites with client management functionalities. They collaborated with a team to respond to project requests, researched programming needs, and utilized industry-accepted testing methods.
Afterward, Tulsie became a Systems Analyst at TBS Promotions, implementing and supporting IT and information systems. They deployed and troubleshooted core business applications, met with stakeholders, and developed requirement specifications and flowcharts.
In 2007, Tulsie joined IBM as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), establishing relationships with potential customers and acting as a liaison between marketing and sales teams. They qualified leads, contacted clients through cold calls and emails, and reported sales results to the Business Development Manager. Tulsie later became an Inside Software Portfolio Representative at IBM, leading the launch of the Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure portfolio into a Software-as-a-Service model. They sourced new sales opportunities and provided post-sale technical support.
From 2017 to 2022, Tulsie worked for Datto, Inc. as a Solutions Engineer. They engaged with channel partners and their clients to promote Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions. Their responsibilities included delivering demonstrations, presentations, proof-of-concepts, training, and attending events.
Currently, Tulsie holds the position of Sr. Solutions Engineer at ScalePad, starting in 2022.
Tulsie Narine's education history includes pursuing a degree in Computer Programming and Analysis with a focus on Information Technology at Seneca College. Additionally, Tulsie has completed a degree in Professional Digital Selling from the Digital Marketing Institute, specializing in Sales and Marketing Operations/Marketing and Distribution Teacher Education.
