Stéphane Guez has over 25 years of work experience in the field of engineering, with a strong focus on ASIC and FPGA design.

Stéphane is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at SCALINX since March 2023.

Prior to this, they worked at Atos as the High-Performance Computing ASIC/FPGA Logic Design R&D Manager starting from February 2021.

From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Nokia as the 5G BaseBand FPGA/SoC Line Manager. Here, they were responsible for managing a team of around 20 engineers and overseeing various aspects of the 5G RX End2End development, including IP RTL design, integration, verification, and code quality check. Stéphane was also responsible for employee satisfaction, performance management, and creating an atmosphere conducive to innovation and improvement.

Before Nokia, they held the position of Senior Component Engineer at Schlumberger from 2010 to 2017.

From 2008 to 2010, they served as the Technical Project Leader at ST-Ericsson, where they were responsible for the design development of a complex SOC for a 3.5G feature phone platform.

From 2002 to 2008, they worked at STMicroelectronics as a Senior Design Leader. Here, they were the Design Responsible for the first production SOC for a new key customer, Ericsson Mobile Platform. The project was a significant success with over 80 million devices sold.

Their earlier work experiences include roles at Alcatel-Lucent, Lore, Alcatel Microelectronics, and Dassault Aviation, where they held various positions related to ASIC and digital design.

Overall, Stéphane Guez has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in FPGA and ASIC design, project management, and team leadership.

Stéphane Guez received their education in the field of electronics engineering and fundamental physics. From 1989 to 1993, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma with a passing grade of 70 to 80%. During their time at the university, they pursued both their electronics engineering degree and master's degrees in fundamental physics. In 1992, they also earned a Master's degree specifically in fundamental physics from the same institution.
