Adam Markiewicz

Adam Markiewicz has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering, business intelligence, and business analysis. Adam is currently working at Scalo as a Lead Data Engineer, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Expert SQL/ETL Developer at Santander Bank Polska from April 2020 to January 2023. Before that, they held the position of Senior SQL/ETL Developer at Santander Bank Polska from September 2018 to March 2020, where they were involved in various projects such as data migration, data quality validation, and ETL process development. Adam also worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at DomData AG sp. z o. o. from November 2016 to August 2018 and as a Business Analyst at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. from November 2014 to October 2016.

Adam Markiewicz has a Master's degree in Computer Science and Econometrics from Poznan University of Economics And Business, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same university, completing it from 2011 to 2014. Earlier in their education, Adam attended Zespół Szkół Politechnicznych im. Bohaterów Monte Cassino we Wrześni, where they received a Technik Informatyk degree in Informatyka from 2007 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the AZ-900 Exam Preparation: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, DP-900 Exam Preparation: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals, and Python for Beginners courses at Cloud Academy in 2022. Additionally, Adam obtained the Analityk Procesów Biznesowych BTC Bonapart certification from BTC Business Technology Consulting Sp. z o.o. in September 2013.
