Aiko Tan

Aiko Tan, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community and homeless strategy within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Community & Homeless Strategy at SCAN Health Plan since July 2021, Aiko previously held the position of Executive Director at HomeAid Los Angeles from December 2018 to August 2021. Aiko's earlier roles at Illumination Foundation included Executive Director of Healthcare Services, Director of Special Projects, and Director of the Recuperative Care Program, contributing to significant organizational growth and advocacy for vulnerable populations. Aiko co-founded the organization and served on its Board of Directors. Aiko's career began as a Senior Research Associate at the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA from February 1995 to October 2002. Aiko holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business and a BS in Biology from UCLA.
