Cheryl Phillips, MD, AGSF, currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for The SCAN Foundation and as a Senior Program Consultant for The John A. Hartford Foundation. With an extensive background in geriatric medicine and health policy, Cheryl has held significant leadership roles, including President and CEO of SNP Alliance and Senior VP of Public Policy and Health Services at LeadingAge. Previous positions include Chief Medical Officer at On Lok Lifeways and Medical Director for Chronic Care at Sutter Health. Cheryl's contributions to the field are also highlighted by past presidency roles at the American Geriatrics Society and AMDA - The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Cheryl completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Loma Linda University and a Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Pacific.
