Deborah Silverstein

Deborah Silverstein currently serves as a Peer Advocate at SCAN since March 2024. Prior to this role, Deborah spent two years as the Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist at Avita Pharmacy, where responsibilities included leading a team in collecting specialty medical claims and coordinating with the Legal team. Deborah's career at PharMedQuest Pharmacy Services spanned nearly nine years, beginning as a Medical Biller Intern and culminating in the position of Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist, with a focus on training new team members and automating billing processes. Earlier experience includes a brief role as a Medical Biller Assistant at Provider Billing Management Solutions Inc and a decade at HireRight as a Data Coordinator. Deborah holds a diploma in Medical Billing / Insurance Coding from UEI College and an Associate Degree in Theater Arts / Dance from Fullerton College.
