Michael Blea

Michael Blea currently serves as Chief Growth Officer at SCAN since February 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held positions including Vice President & General Manager at Golden Outlook Insurance Services, Inc. from January 2019 to February 2022, and Vice President at Excelsior Insurance Brokerage from October 2017 to January 2019. In 2017, Michael founded TeamUP Insurance Services and previously served as President of Alignment Health Advisors at Alignment Healthcare from March 2015 to March 2017. Michael's extensive experience also includes a long tenure at Golden Outlook as Vice President/General Manager from April 2006 to March 2015, where responsibilities included building and scaling a sales distribution organization from 4 to over 1,500 sales agents. Earlier positions include Director of Sales at Pacificare Secure Horizons from 2003 to 2006 and at Health Net from 1998 to 2003, as well as Director of Sales & Marketing at YMCA from 1989 to 1994.
