Michael Lewandowski has over 40 years of work experience in various roles. From 1979 to 1983, they were a Psychiatric Technician at Parkview Memorial Hospital. From 1983 to 1992, they were Complex Director at Fort Wayne State Developmental Center. During this time from 1984 to 1992, they were also a Psychometric Test Administrator at Behavioral Assessments. From 1992 to 1999, they were an Instructor in the Psychology Department at Saint Francis University. From 1999 to 2015, they were Administrator of Operations and Program Administrator at SCAN, Inc. Lastly, from 2015 to 2018, they were Chief Operating Officer at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, Inc., where they provided oversight of the agency's internal operations, supervised all Program Directors and IT Director, and monitored all quality initiatives in the agency.
Michael Lewandowski obtained a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University between 1980 and 1981. Michael obtained a Bachelors in Psychology from Purdue University between 1976 and 1980. In October 2021, they became Dare to Lead Trained.
