Andreas Fliss

Andreas Fliss is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Global Director of New Technology and Solutions at Archer - the well company since April 2016, where responsibilities include New Technology Strategy and R&D Portfolio. Prior roles at Archer encompassed leading technology portfolios and strategies in various capacities, including Global Director for Product Lines and Engineering, and Global Director for Well Integrity. Previously, Andreas held the position of Chief Operating Officer at QI, focusing on innovative solutions for well intervention operations, and served as Project Manager and Partner developing cost-efficient technologies. Early career experience includes account management and operational leadership roles at Schlumberger, and military service in the German Fallschirmjägerbataillon. Academic credentials include an MSc in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Diploma from TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
