Mikhail Sumin

Mikhail Sumin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mikhail started their career as the COO/CFO and co-founder of Scanderm, a biotech startup studio focused on dermatology. Mikhail then became the Product Team Lead at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow, where they managed a B2B tech-tours platform and a fin-tech project. Mikhail also worked as a Business Development Manager at EcoWater Systems, where they maintained relationships with key customers, identified trends and new business opportunities, and set future directions for new products. Mikhail was also a Project Sales Manager at DAB Pumps, where they organized and developed sales activities, established relationships with clients and distributors, and participated in tenders and contract negotiations. Finally, they worked as a Presales Engineer at Danfoss, where they identified and qualified business opportunities, conducted technical consultations and seminars, prepared commercial proposals, and achieved significant sales targets.

Mikhail Sumin completed their education with a Master's degree in Bioenergy Technology from LUT University, which they attended from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician from Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) from 2007 to 2013. In addition, they obtained a Specialist degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, where they studied from 2009 to 2015.
