Ralph Aeschimann

Ralph Aeschimann is a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead at Scandit since October 2019, specializing in visual search and the development of Computer Vision and Machine Learning pipelines. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer in Research and Development at Vizrt, where Ralph engineered sports analysis software, and as a Software Engineer focused on computer-assisted surgery at Uniklinik Balgrist. Ralph’s early career encompasses a Robotics Research Scientist position at CSIRO and teaching roles in mathematics at ETH Zurich. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ETH Zurich, alongside international experiences in robotics programs at Tohoku University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
